Privacy policy.
How we collect, use and protect personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains how Pennine Pacific Pty Ltd (ABN 65 684 292 199), referred to here as "we", "us" or "Pennine Pacific", handles the personal information of people who visit our website or contact us. By using this site or getting in touch, you accept the practices described below.
│What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business. That includes:
- Details you give us directly through our contact form or the Health Check, such as your name, work email, company and the message you send.
- Booking details if you arrange a call through our scheduling tool.
- Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit, such as your IP address, device type and the pages you view.
- Analytics data about how the site is used, collected only after you accept non-essential cookies.
The Health Check is self-scored in your browser. Your answers stay on your device unless you choose to send them to us.
│How we use it
We use personal information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and deliver our services, keep records and understand how the site performs. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you. We do not sell it.
│Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep the site working. Non-essential cookies, including Google Analytics and advertising pixels, run only if you accept them through our consent banner. You can decline, then change your mind later by clearing cookies in your browser. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site.
│Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us operate, under confidentiality obligations. These include our email and document provider, our website host, our scheduling tool and our analytics providers. Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with Australian privacy law. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
│Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, then to destroy or de-identify it once it is no longer needed. Enquiry and Health Check details you send us (such as your email, company and answers) are held in our secure records only for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to provide our services, after which they are deleted or de-identified. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
│Accessing and correcting your information
At any time you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with us first, then with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
